Nismo se dugo videle, poljubile, niti zagrlile. A sada ti palim sveću, sestro moja. 💔😌 Nema tih reci kojima bih mogla da opišem tugu koju si ostavila za sobom, niti reci kojima bih mogla da utešim tvoju majku i tvoje ćerke. Volela bih samo da ih snažno zagrlim i upijem deo njihovog bola. Od kada sam cula da si bolesna, molila sam se da ozdraviš, da ojacaš i vratiš onaj prelepi osmeh na lice, po kojem te svi pamtimo. Volela si život i ljude i tebe su voleli. Bila si sposobna za sve. Sve što si zamislila, mogla si da ostvariš. Ines i Sara su srećne što si im majka. Uvek ćeš biti deo njih, a ja u njima vidim tebe, zauvek.

My Dear sister Elma,

It’s been so long since we last saw each other, kissed, or hugged. And now I’m lighting a candle for you, my sister. 💔😌 There are no words to describe the sadness you’ve left behind, nor words that could comfort your mother and your daughters. I only wish I could hold them tight and take away a part of their pain. Since the moment I heard you were ill, I prayed for you to get better, to grow stronger, and to bring back that beautiful smile we all remember you by. You loved life and people — and people loved you. You were capable of anything. Everything you set your mind to, you could achieve. Ines and Sara are blessed to have you as their mother. You will always be a part of them, and through them, I will always see you.
